NY: Herbert Dubler, 1942 Very nice full-color illustrations, One for each month by Ida Bohatta Morpurgo (IBM). Nearly square (a bit taller) 24 mo. 5" x 4".

Saalfield, 1942 Baumgarten's pp 10 & 63. A large book measuring 13"t x 9.75"w with 16 pages all full color illustrated. Large upper corner chip and a piece missing (torn away) from the first page. Illustrations are quite bright and happy, leaning towards the 'Americanized' idea of what Sambo looks like.

A lovely example of this sweet child's picture book. FC shows 2 little girls in white and red winter garb with their cat alongside. So cute! Minor edge wear, no splits , folds or staining, nice for display. Photos available.

This one from my hometown library in Easton, NH. A tiny hamlet West of Franconia, NH. I am looking for a suitable dust wrapper, soon to be coming I hope. MAT G.

Dust jacket quite worn and edge chipped, sticker pull on front with 4 titles advertised on rear panel. No. 513, copr. MCMXLV, therefore First edition thus and quite scarce in the original dust jacket.

A lovely example in near fine condition in a like (spine titled and priced in Black) dust wrapper with a few tiny spots on front panel. First edition.

A vintage original set with mostly complete dust wrappers, collectively VG+ to near fine condition. A wonderfull set missing just; 'School', 'Dragon' and 'G-Man' titles. The earliest jacket lists just 8 titles on the flap and on the verso (inside).
