Not one American in a hundred, no matter how well educated, knows enough to form a valuable opinion on any major issue, Wylie says. If you enjoy a good, literate rant, Wylie's your writer; and this polemic on education hasn't lost its edge since its publication nearly forty years ago. The bottom edge of the text is lightly foxed, o/w the boards and text are clean, tight, square; the white dustjacket shows some soiling and age-discoloration on the spine and edges and some minor surface and edgewear, no significant tears or chipping. A collectable copy.
