About This Item
New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1933. Cloth. Very Good +/Very Good +. A one-of-a-kind copy of the 1933 stated 1st edition, with 2 original photographs of Rockwell Kent (pasted onto the first blank endpaper), "working at the Lakeside Press on proofs of the book Rockwellkentiana". (This caption was written by an unidentified hand and appears next to the lower photograph; next to the upper photograph, a small, neat, unidentified inscription). A solid copy to boot: Clean and Near Fine in a crisp, price-intact, VG+ dustjacket, with light chipping at the spine ends and the tips, and several small closed tears along the panel edges. Quarto, Kent's brilliant woodcuts on full display. Very scarce as such, with this added documentation of Kent at work on "Rockwellkentiana"
