It is a dictionary of ingredients, and it covers cooking terms, famous dishes, national cuisines and the colorful history of food. There are guidelines on choosing and using foods and 26 special sections with recipes.
It is 496 pages, packed with gorgeous photos.It weighs 4 lbs and is laminated.
It has never been used, but it was a gift and there is a note from the person who gave it to the original owner on the front endpaper (it's faint).
Otherwise mint condition. Gorgeous book.
