Tightly bound with mild cracking to gutter by rear endpaper. Faint thumb-marking throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper and half title page. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Heavy sunning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Moderate water droplets to front board.

The cover is worn, scuffed and marked. It is comfortable. Inside the frontis and end pages are worn about the gutterings. Pages are lightly toned with modest foxing but in very good condition. Engraved headpieces and tailpieces.
