Robert Brady was a 17th-century English royalist historian who played an important role in the emergence of English history out of its medieval forms. Much of this was from his book 'Introduction to the Old English History'. In this work, Brady covered aspects of English politics and government noting the influence of the famed 'Doomsday Book' – (citing taxation, land ownership, heraldic law, etc.).
This 1684 first edition proved to be an important advancement in English law.
