Both are ex-university department library copies. The reader has a small stamp on title page, a date due label on rear end paper and a pocket on the rear paste down. The text is clean and unmarked, there is minor rubbing to the boards. The Teacher's Manual has a label on the front cover and a pocket on the inside of the rear cover. There is creasing and rubbing to both covers, the text is clean and unmarked. Very Good.

Original pictorial blue cloth over boards with colour illustration of a girl and a boy running on cover, with black lettering. Minor edge and corner wear. Previous owner's name and school stamp inside front cover. No other writing. Small stain at top right corners of pages up to page 10 (not affecting text - gets smaller as you turn pages). Partial break along top of rear hinge between the Word List and the Index. This is a "Janet and John" book. The "Teacher's Note" at the back states that this is a "Pre-Primer" book in the series. Scarce. 130 pp. including Index..
