Description:
Paris: Editions R.I.S.S., 1931. Paperback. 223p. paperback, very good, in a toned and mildly edgeworn transparent glassine cover. Singerman 0221. First edition of this classic work of virulently anti-Semitic conspiracy theory, based on the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. Paquita Louise de Shishmareff (born in Paris to US citizens as Louise A. Chandor) spent much of her youth in St. Petersburg. She married an officer in the Russian Imperial Army, who was killed during the revolution in 1917. Moving to the United States, the author spent much of the 1920s and 1930s in fascist circles, using her family wealth to support right-wing organizations.
