New York, 1925. First Edition. Hardcover in light brown cloth. Very Good. Scarce book. Book is insensitive as it discusses African-Americans, and reveals the attitude of the time. It does however serve as a record of the songs it seeks to document. Book is in very good condition with no marks within, binding and text clean and tight with shelf-wear, bumping and light toning. Former owner's name written in pen at the top of the FFEP. Otherwise a very good copy for collecting or studying. Book begins with a preface of about 50 pages, the remainder is music.

Interior is intact, with all leaves firmly anchored and without tears (this spiral-bound edition was especially susceptible to tearing)..
