Light wear to the raised bands and tips of the leather bindings; the leather and hinges are bright, fresh and intact. Occasional foxing throughout, but mostly constrained to the margins and blank sides of the plates. Bookplate of the former owner, R. Percy Alden, on the front pastedown of each volume.
