Gilt lettering on backstrip. Quite shelf worn, including general wear, bumped corners, fraying, large splits in backstrip seems and damage to backstrip, which have been secured with tape. Vol 1 front board seperate. Patterned end papers. All hinges split. Volume 1 is secure and clear save for a couple of pencil markings. Vol 2 has small pen and pen markings on multiple pages. Foxing.
