The book has foxing intermittently throughout the book but most so on the end pages. The corners are bumped and there is some creasing elsewhere on the cover. The top paper edge is gilt but uneven coloration -the gilt toward the spine is not as bright, may have had some light water damage at some time. Book is clean and relatively tight otherwise. (There is a pencil note on the front free endpaper from a previous owner stating when and when he bought the book (Charing Cross Road, the Dobells, London, 1931). $7.50 Box 834
