Frederick Tyrrell (1793-1843), a nephew of Sir Astley Cooper, Tyrell was one of Thomas Wakley's "Three Ninnyhammers" and was co-proprietor of the Aldersgate Private Medical Academy (founded 1825) with William Lawrence.
