Not dated but a calendar on page 288 gives the years 1936, 1937 and 1938 so it is probably 1936. The red embossed boards have a spine that is sun faded. Owners stamp on the front pastedown. VERY GOOD+

A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no internal or external markings. The front title lettering indicates that this was from the Chicago Century of Progress International Exposition, also known as the Chicago World's Fair. The publisher was a pharmaceutical company in London founded in 1880 and which merged with Glaxo in 1995. ; B&W Photographs; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 160 pages .

Hardcover. Fair. Light tip wear and a bit of cover fading. Has a couple of older newspaper clippings included, with associated tanning. One is paper clipped in place, and is from a little later date. Looks more like 40's or 50's ..no date on paper. The page that has paper clip is loose at the top. :{ No date noted for publication of book itself, but illustrations appear to be pre-1930's [even, possibly, pre 1920's] Really nice copy, over all, just has those few issues.

'Book belongs to' plate has been completed but diary remains black and pages free from inscriptions. A very nice copy with very little wear, clean pages and tight binding. Pretty pictorial end papers and adverts at rear.

Hardbound maroon cloth boards with gold gilt lettering to front board. Back strip of spine and boards show no wear top or bottom but have spotting blemishes along the top and bottom, front and rear. Corners are sharp with slightest of wear. Silver raised star patterned endpapers. Spine is straight and firm, no cracking to the endpapers. Text block is solid with all pages firmly attached. Slight age tanning throughout. All interior pages are clean with no tears, cracks or other previous owner marks. Includes index.
