This was Brooke's third appearance in print. A fine, fresh copy with the original printed mailing envelope whose flap has been strengthened by archival document tape. Brooke's lyrical poems were published shortly after his death in 1915 when he was shipping out to the battle of Gallipoli. The English nation lionized him for his unabashedly patriotic poem, "The Soldier" whose lines begin: "If I should die, think only this of me:/ That there's some corner of a foreign field/That is for ever England.
