She photographed the London scene for many years, Castro's Cuba, etc. Especially well-known for her portraits, the author explores both her life and her art in the first half of the book (illustrated with photos). There are about 83 full page b&w plates of some of her best work in the rear. The covers are white, printed stiff wrappers illustrated with photos. There is a light crease to the upper corner of the front wrapper, and a small rubbed spot toward the bottom; there is faint age spotting to the covers which prevents this book from being in very good condition.
