An annotated timetable of the route taken by the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII/Duke of Windsor) on the Grand Trunk Railway through Ontario and Quebec in 1919. The Foreword gives a brief history of the Grand Trunk Railway/Grand Trunk Pacific Railway and the book closes with a list of directors, etc. of company. The illustrations show scenes in the areas through which the prince was to pass; towns, buildings, bridges, locomotives, etc. Does not contain pictures of the actual visit. Light wear to the corners and edges. Small spot of soil on upper board. Inside pages are clean and unmarked overall, with some toning. Title page continues: "Embracing that Portion of the Grand Trunk System in the Provinces of Ontario and Quebec Traversed by His Royal Highness". A description of the route through Ontario and Quebec that was taken by the Prince of Wales on the Grand Trunk Railway system in 1919. Includes 27 tissue-guarded, b&w photographic plates of scenes and places of interest along the route. Frontispiece is an engraving of Niagara Falls. Fold out map of the Grand Trunk System inside the back cover. .

First edition. #73 of 100 copies. Includes fly leaf with autographs of Railway officials and newspaper reporters and an autograph poem by Albert Rooke on verso of photo at p42. In pocket: card with photo of the Prince of Wales and his signature, "Edward P, Fall, 1919". Also another photograph of the prince, a small illustration, and a telegram with Albert Rooke's address. Text contains details about the Grand Trunk Railway and about the Prince's route. Also text and illustrations of Niagara Falls.
