London: Sidgwick and Jackson, 1971. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First UK hardback edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards sharp and clean. Sharp spine ends, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with white edges. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels very tight and hardly read. Fine condition. The jacket has bold colours, and there is very light rubbing to the front joint and the spine ends. The rear white panel has some feint grubbiness. Jacket grades near fine. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection.
