This copy of the General View of Macau 1839 by Auguste Borget was from the collection of the Hong Kong Museum of Art and published by the Urban Council and printed by the Government Printer. The picture, which measures 13.5 inches wide by 7.75 inches tall, is printed on a stiff paper sheet measuring 18 inches wide by 14 inches tall. The print, which is shown in the accompanying illustration, is in very good condition.
Auguste Borget (1808–1877) was a French artist known for his drawings and prints of exotic places, in particular China. He was born in 1808 in Issoudun, Indre. At age 21, he went to Paris where he became a close friend of Honore de Balzac. Borget periodically exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1836 to 1859. Beginning in 1836, he traveled through North and South America before stopping briefly in Honolulu in May, 1838, on board the ship "Psyche", on a world tour. This copy of the Pressbook for the film starring Dustin Hoffman in "Little Big Man" was published in 1971 by Cinema Center Films Pressbook. The pressbook provides a means for theater operators and others to know what materials may be available for purchase to assist in advertising, reviewing and promoting the film. These materials include summaries of the story, suggested text for reviews, photos and posters of all sorts and sizes, and others. This pressbook, which measures approximately 8 ½ x 14 inches, contains 18 pages (including the paper covers) of materials available for advertising the movie. The internal pages are all removable by tearing along a perforated inner border. This copy also includes a lain-in "Cinema Center Films Advertising Supplement", which consists of a 4-page insert with many different sizes of a newly prepared poster/lobby card. The pressbook and insert are both in very good condition.

Skinner & Co. of Colchester, Conn. The paper, which measures approximately 5 x 8 inches, contains 40 pages presenting the two sermons. The pages are tanned, but the text is clear and easily read. Aaron Cleveland (3 February 1744 – 21 September 1815), pursued multiple vocations. His father's early death deprived him of the privilege of a college education, but he pursued his studies while apprenticed to a manufacturer in Norwich, Connecticut. In 1779, he was a member of the provincial legislature of Connecticut. Late in life, he became a Congregationa pastor near Hartford, Connecticut.

Life was an American magazine published weekly from 1883 to 1972, as an intermittent "special" until 1978, and as a monthly from 1978 until 2000. This issue of Life (Vol. 65, No. 25, December 20, 1968) contains the unpublished and unfinished manuscript by Mark Twain titled Huck Finn & Tom Sawyer Among the Indians. The issue features a picture of Mark Twain at age 55, painted by Charles N. Flagg, on the front cover, 16 pages devoted to the text of the unfinished novel, and a one-page article titled The reasons Mark Twain did not finish his story. Articles on other subjects are also present.
This issue of Life, which measures approximately 10.5 x 14 inches, has a total of 76 pages of text, illustrations, and advertisements. he booklet, Spode, George III - George VI, was produced at the time of the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and was intended to show the world the role played by Spode in providing fine tableware for the British Royal Families since the reign of George III. The booklet, which measures approximately 5 x 6 ¾ inches, contains 31 pages of text and B & W illustrations related to the 27 examples of Royal Family pottery designed by Spode. A final page in the booklet shows the price, at the time of publication and in US Dollars, that Spode would charge a collector for a replica of any of the plates depicted in the booklet.
The booklet is staple bound in red paper covers with gilt printing on the front face. Both the front and rear free end papers have red stains along the bottom edges, presumably caused by the red dye of the paper covers. This set of post cards - Butchart's Gardens, Victoria, B.C. - 12 Post Cards – Hand Coloured - Produced in Real Photogravure was published in booklet form by The Gowen Sutton Co., Ltd., Vancouver, B.C. and printed in England. The post cards are enclosed in a brown paper booklet, measuring approximately 6 x 3 ¾ inches, with gilt lettering and an oval cutout on the front to allow viewing of the first post card. The post cards are attached to the booklet through a perforated seam that allows them to be individually removed from the booklet.
The pictures accompanying this description show the front cover of the booklet and a typical postcard, with the back of the previous one on the left and the subject postcard on the right.
The post cards are in good to very good condition. The booklet covers are in good condition, except that the rear cover has five spots where some sort of "attachment" had been glued on and then removed, leaving a white paper residue.

Description:
This copy of "Detective Comics presents Batman and Batgirl" - No. 192 - October, 1969 was published by National Periodical Publications, Inc. of New York. This issue, which measures approximately 7 x 10 inches, contains 32 pages bound within paper covers. The comic book has some slight tanning of the pages, but is otherwise in very good condition.
There are two stories in this issue.
The first, starring Batman, is titled "I Died...A Thousand Deaths!" and was written by Frank Robbins with art by Bob Brown and Joe Giella. The story appears on 14 of the booklet's 32 pages, at which time the story has completed. The second story, starring Batgirl, is titled "A Clue...Seven-Foot Tall!", was also written by Frank Robbins, but with art by Gil Kane And Murphy Anderson. The story appears on 8 of the booklet's 32 pages, and is scheduled to be concluded in the magazine's next issue.
The pages not consumed by the stories are used for short "fun activities" and advertisements.
