Some scuffing to spine ends and corners, red top layer of spine is starting to peel away at the edges but titles are still all there, a previous owner's name on f/ep, some yellowing to the pages, binding is just starting to split at pp48-49 but no pages coming out, and the book does smell a bit of being kept in a shed though this should fade. An account of the trial of Patrick Sellar in 1816, when he was accused of culpable homicide in that he caused the death of an old woman who died of burns after Sellar's men set fire to her house in 1814 when evicting tenants of the Sutherland Estates at Strathnaver.
