Covers generally worn and some printing on spines is not visible; binding generally good though in Volume 1 in the back it's beginning to separate; Markings appear to be very light with some pencil paragraph marks in margins, very little underlining seen in Volume 1 and generally prices on one of the first inside pages; some rippling at bottom seen in Volume 1.

These are two volumes of the History of the French Language authored by a group in 1903 and 1904 in Paris. They are beautifully bound in red leather. The content is VG and the covers are worn. Would make a fabulous coffee table book.

Leather. This 1857 Bible is in German. The text is good to fair and water warped. The cover is leather and the front cover is loosening from spine. The spine, though torn, clearly shows the words "Die Bibel." See photos.

The text is good. The beautiful covers are worn and a good portion of the binding is torn, A huge and weighty book at around 10 pounds. The first and definitive history of Chicago and the suburbs. Every subsequent Chicago historian has drawn upon Andreas' work. The content pages are very good.
