Two decades after its very successful debut on Broadway, this unusual revival was done of the comedy about two mismatched roommates – except this time, two women (Rita Moreno and Sally Struthers) took on the lead roles. This poster is for the play's tryout in Los Angeles prior to its Broadway run.

Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland are featured in a New York City setting when Betsy Booth (Garland), daughter to a Broadway actress, shows small-town-USA Andy Hardy (Rooney) the ropes of making it in the big city. Garland and Rooney would make solo and Andy Hardy films between the big scale musicals. Ad for film on verso.

Louise Beavers and Fredi Washington in a dramatic image of the mother and her unhappy daughter, whose desperate attempts to "pass" are at the core of this great John Stahl film about racism.
