Description:
THIS IS A RARE BOOK" Tom… is the story of a real home and a very real Tom. Reading it awakens the question of whether it is the more enchanting to be a boy, or a boy's mother; and it is hard to believe people who assert that there are drawbacks to both situations. The book is bright, hearty and stirring, full of teaching which does not involve a particle of 'preachment;' and it cannot fail to be interesting to every boy. "
