One of 3 000 copies printed.First edition.
The suppression of the counterrevolutionary kulak rebellion, led by Ulyalaev, is a notable historical event. In the initial edition of the poem, the literary portrayal of Ulyalaev garnered more attention than that of the communists. As a result, the first edition was confiscated. Subsequently, the text underwent revisions and was republished multiple times.

Description:
One of 10 000 copies printed.Ukrainian poet Andrey Malyshko (1912-1970) penned these verses after his visit to the USA and Canada in 1950, a time when the World War II alliance between Russia and the USA had become a distant memory. The full-blown Cold War dominated the political landscape, and there were no traces of their former friendship evident in the verses. It's worth noting that David Samoylov (1920-1990), one of the most prominent Russian poets of the post-war era, made an early appearance with his translation efforts in this book. He contributed five translated verses for the book.

Description:
This book consists of three fairy tales. The first one is about kids who got lost in the forest and asked wild animals how to find a forester house. The second one tells about a kite that quarreled with birds. The third is devoted to a caterpillar which became a butterfly. These stories were illustrated by May Miturich (Miturich-Khlebnikov, 1925–2008), an artist, nephew of futurist poet Velimir Khlebnikov and son of avant-garde artist Vera Khlebnikova. He studied at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute, where later he taught. In 2005 Mirutich was awarded the Japanese Order of the Rising Sun. The book is from the children's collection of Inna Shmeleva (1929-2020), an artist, who studied under Ely Bielutin, the founder of The New Reality artistic academy. In 1962 Shmeleva participated in the 30th anniversary of the Moscow Union of Artist at the Central Exhibition Hall (Manège) which was severely criticized by Nikita Khrushchev. This event marked the end of the period called as the Khrushchev Thaw.First…

In the late 1950s the relations between Mao Zedong and Nikita Khushchev became deeply strained following Khrushchev's de-Stalinization of the USSR and US-Soviet collaboration. On July 16, 1960 the USSR recalled all its specialists from China. This coloring book was signed for print on November 30, 1959. This photograph captures the affluent bride from Samagaltay, a rural locality (selo) and the administrative center of the Tes-Khemsky District in Tuva, situated in southern Siberia. Samagaltay held the position of Tuva's capital until 1921. The bride is depicted inside a yurt, a customary circular tent that serves as a common dwelling, alongside a kitchen cupboard and a table adorned with a traditional teapot and piyala—a small bowl specifically used for drinking tea. Her hair is adorned with a chavaga, an exquisite piece of jewelry that holds great value and is typically passed down through generations. The bride wears the chavaga as a symbol of her transition into womanhood.During the Qing dynasty, the last imperial dynasty of China, Tuva was historically a part of Outer Mongolia known as Tannu Uriankhai. However, in 1911, Tuva broke away and formed the Uryankhay Republic after the Xinhai Revolution, which led to the creation of the Republic of China. In… Read More
