Issued in gray paper over boards with printed paper title labels on the front cover and spine. Spine ends heavily chipped; bottom corner of both boards are worn. Offsetting to one page spread by a slim newsprint page marker, otherwise clean. A nice collection of the columns Tinsley wrote for the weekly newspaper of Staunton, the Vindicator. Tinsley served the whole of the Civil War with the Richmond Howitzers. Very little material related to his service in this collection. Dornbusch II, 1126.
