Description:
Oxford University Press, 1974. 3rd Printing. Hardcover. Fair/Good. Very nice DJ marred by quarter inch by one inch chip to top front edge, spine ends alsofrayed/creased/closed tears; book has the same extremist dynamic, on the one hand very tight (clearly unread so tight) and clean but on the other hand a gaudy owner's stamp to page all 3 page edges and worse yet a serious split on page 272 nearly detaching the last segment from the binding. When closed not visible, book is functional, and for the collector one could go either way on this one; a true dilemma. I actually read the Brazilian edition of this book and it is a key title on the subject.
