On the front free endpaper is a warm inscription in English dated April 15th, 1938, thanking an unnamed host of six of the German men who skied in April 1938 races in Aspen, Colorado. Signed by each: Richard May, Ulrich Beutter, Franz Machler, Hanns Gunther Riehle, Fritz Dehmel, and Werner Munig(?). A one-inch separation at gutter starting on front endpapers, and a tiny nick on cloth edge. Large heavy book: extra postage for priority mail. Not available for international shipping.
