Jones is best remembered for his work for Warner Brothers, co-creating characters for the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts (including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, Pepé Le Pew, and Porky Pig). Jones won an Academy Award for his 1965 short film "The Dot and the Line," and was presented with an Honorary Academy Award in 1996. 10 x 8 inches. Near Fine.

The original series premiered in 1954 on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) as "Disneyland," aired in black-and-white, and became "Walt Disney Presents" (1958). Re-titled "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" (1961) and later "The Wonderful World of Disney" (1972-1979, 1986-1987, 1994-2009), each show was hosted by Disney himself, and featured animated shorts, original Disney feature one-hour edits, and documentary information about Disneyland.
