Quebec City?, nd. Hardcover. Good. 187 p. handwritten French text. 20 cm leatherbound volume with gilt title and impressing on spine and gilt trim to edges. Marbled endpapers. Text has 8 chapters, listed at rear. Signed on a front page by Louis Alphonse Lefebvre, 54 d'Artigny, Québec, but this is not the same handwriting as the text. Some stains to first pages. Spine ends chipped and corners worn. Small section removed from top of first page of text. Louis A. Lefebvre was born about 1877 in Quebec and in 1921 lived at 54 d'Artigny, Quebec City. At that he was married to Georgina, his occupation listed as traveller. Is this an unpublished manuscript? Summary notes from a larger work? By Lefebvre or someone else?

Title continues: "Text ad-libbed by Jack Kerouac for the film by Robert Frank and Alfred Leslie." Introduction by Jerry Tallmer. Classic and scarce evocation of Beat life in New York, with Kerouac text and stills of Ginsberg and Corso performances. Essential for any Beat Literature collection.

G.R.C. Gananoque." Torn ends. Pertains to Leeds Lodge of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons (AF&AM), Gananoque, Ontario.

A little light thumbing but otherwise clean with all puzzles blank. Comes with its own pencil attached to rear cover. An interesting change for those tired of crosswords, this book has been waiting 90 years for someone to fill in quotations from Tolstoy, Robert Browning, Kipling, etc.

Good. No manufacturer. ca. 1880s - 1900s. 25 cm. Two-sided with sunglowers, butterfly and "The Sun of gladness shine on you" on one side, pink flowers with "My Sincere Congratulations" on the other. Sunflower side is signed "FB". Congratulations side coming unglued a bit at bottom corner. Silk fringe is a bit crumpled on one side. No inscription.

The Rust Craft Greeting Card Company was an American greeting card and printing company. Rust revolutionized the use of the "French Fold," which turned a single piece of paper into a card by folding it into quarters, as shown here.
