For Charles Champlin, formerly a writer-correspondent for Time and Life magazines and since 1965 an editor and columnist for the Los Angeles Times, his "other time" was the nineteen-thirties. His "other place," where he was born and spent his boyhood and early adolescence, was the lovely Finger Lakes village of Hammondsport in western New York State. 1929 VINTAGE BAMBIbook is in good- condition spine is gone but all pages are attached. Cover has some water damage but orange graphic of bambi is preserved. All pages are clean and unmarked. Green stamps of Bambi in motion on the FFEP (front and back) in green stamp are visable. Book has many black and white graphics to accompany the story.
