The Platt & Munk Co. Inc. Publishers, New York, 1930. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good-. 21 pp. Text white on high-grade paper. Leaves 6-7 have brown crayon circled text. Other pages have light pencil initials. Top one-and-a-half inches of spine is missing. Rear cover is lightly soiled and has a waterstain in lower outer edge. Overall, very good condition for a children's book from this age that has been used.

The fifth reader "containing elegant estracts in prose and poetry; with copious rules and rhetorical exercises." Very good condition considering its school usage 170 years ago.
