No place [San Francisco ?]: no publisher [Taxipress ?], no date (ca. 2009). First edition. 12mo (7.25" x 5.5"), 50 unnumbered pages & covers. Stapled stiff paper wraps. Not located by OCLC as of 7/21/2023.
Soiled, edge wear, rubbing, sheets misaligned, staples replaced, a good or so example of a crudely produced pamphlet.
Ms. Argo was a member of the now disbanded Sister Split, a lesbian-feminist spoken-word and performance art collective in San Francisco. Among the vignettes presented here are "With All the Girl Skin Going By," "Sometimes Me and My Best Friend Accidentally Fuck," and "Swallow." Her other books include "The Creamsickle" which won a Lambda award, and "Girls I've Run Away With."

Covers lightly browned at the upper margins, modest offsetting, foxing, & toning mostly at endpapers & pastedowns, occasional minor handling marks, otherwise very good in browned & foxed dust jacket, rubbed at the fold along the spine, with edge wear including nicks & small losses, still good or better.
Spender's seventh book of poetry, this dedicated to sister-in-law Margaret Spender who died on Christmas day, 1945

The Sexual Freedom League was founded in 1963 in New York City by Jefferson Poland (also known as Jefferson Fuck Poland and Jefferson Clitlick) and Leo Koch. Among the luminaries associated with the league were Margo St. James, Richard Thorne (also known as "Ohm"), and "Mother Boats," AKA Brian Traynor.

Trace of soiling, otherwise fine. Probably a one off, we find no indication of further publication. Includes a poem by Cynthia Woodworth entitled "For Her."
