Epistolary novel about a faithful husband who falls in love, psychically, with the spirit of a young girl (who eventually marries his brother). A bizarre love triangle. Snow was a prominent anti-vivisectionist. This copy with a lengthy presentation inscription from the author to fellow animal rights activist Jeanie L.C. Couch.

[Cleveland?]: the author, 1949. 124p. staplebound booklet, second edition, revised; covers somewhat creased, original price blacked out on front cover; pages evenly toned. Schmidt is noted in Cleveland newspapers of the time as a German-language lecturer in occult science.

Denver: Synergy Publishers, 1984. Paperback. 247p., very good first edition trade paperback in pictorial wraps. Abortion, relationship, etc. content.

New York: Farrar & Rinehart, Incorporated, 1936. x, 338p., first edition with the right logo, a handsome little novel in openweave offwhite cloth lettered and decorated in red, with a top edge red tint; untrimmed foredge. Lacks the jacket but has survived in very good shape: lettering still bright, margins of the raw linen boards shew mild toning and dust, the spine panel is slightly darker that the boards, casing is sound and square and the interior is clean, unmarked with just a touch of further toning here and there. A genuinely "very good" copy. Plot involves the contact of western medicine (lots of talk about blood chemistry and so forth) with a remote jungle-based culture that does spooky things. Laing's style is arch but not off-puttingly so.

Minor blemishes on covers, otherwise Very Good. Published version of a 1958 lecture at the Anthroposophical Center in New York delivered by a popular opera singer.

A magazine devoted to practical alchemy and related topics. Art Kunkin, former editor of the L.A. Free Press, came in as editor.

Boston: Fag Rag, 1974. Newspaper. 28p. folded tabloid newspaper, poetry, stories, articles, ads, heavily worn and toned at folds and edges especially at the spine fold of outer sheets, tape-repaired tear, newsprint. As is reading copy. The most radical of the gay publications of the period, this issue includes a poetry centerfold by William Barber and Paul Mariah. Also part III of Witchcraft: Gay Counterculture.

New York: Viking Press, 2001. Hardcover. 181p., very good first edition, first printing stated in boards and unclipped dj. The poet and his longtime partner were deep into the supernatural and especially the Ouija board.

Tallahassee: Dreamspinner Press, 2014. Paperback. 184p., very good first edition trade paperback in pictorial wraps. Third volume in the "The Actor and the Earl" series . A male Elizabethan actor portrays the wife of the Earl and is accused of witchcraft! Forever hold his codpiece?

Originally San Francisco Express Times. Also: excerpt from Crowley's "Magick Without Tears." Cuban Acid Test.

San Francisco: Great Western University, 1978. 11p., 5.5x8.5 inches, with address label and "return to sender" stamps. The Stanford- and Berkeley-educated Whitworth founded the Great Western Brotherhood and established a correspondence school with courses such as Life Force Seminars. Contents include testimony of followers.

Berlin: Conrad Paris, 1915. Hardcover. Unpaginated preliminaries, 318, 348, 299p., photocopied text in Blackletter or Fraktur German throughout, facsimile #366 of an unspecified limitation. Very skilled casebindings of matching design, smooth brown cloth that very closely resembles leather, gotten up with raised bands and panels in blind that would have fooled this cataloguer into thinking 'leather', had it not been for a few tiny chips in the cloth surface. Each volume measures 8x5.5 inches, all edges sprinkled with decorative red speckle, tight clean little copies in very good shape except for tiny spine labels glued to the external heel of each. Label to v.1 is lost and has left an unattractive residue. All in all, good to very good copies.

Hardcover. 298p., slight edgewear to dustjacket, small tears on front bottom corner of dj, corners bumped, very light bookstore rubberstamp on paste down endpaper, somewhat large closed tear on page 133, else very good. A novel, signed and inscribed by the author to fellow writer, Virginia Wallace.
