Sydney and London: Collins, 1976. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. The important first novel on the plight of the Tasmanian aborigines by the author of the The Shark Net. In very nice shape.

Sydney: Currawong Publishing Co., 1947. First Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. A charming little tome in brown pictorial cloth with two small spots of fading to spine where chips to jacket appear. Previous owner's name to top of front pastedown. Spot of soiling to top of rear panel with chips to spine of jacket as mentioned, spine bottom and top edge which is due to jacket being too large for the book. Additionally, 3/4 closed tear to bottom of front panel near spine.

New York: Atlantic Monthly Press, 2000. First US Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Light wear with just the slightest spine tilt. Unclipped jacket. By the author of The Narrow Road to the Deep North.

New York: Viking Press, 1957. First US Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Good/Poor. The scarce true First US Edition of one of the author's classics. The vast majority in the marketplace being book club editions. In blue 3/4 cloth binding blindstamped to front board and lighter blue cloth to spine with darker blue title panels with design motifs. Silver foil and dark blue to type. Top page ends tinted but faded. Light dings to corners and rubbing to heel of spine with some wear at head as well. Three inch split to front hinge at endpapers towards top. Jacket is unclipped ($5.00) with large chip approximately 1 inch high with tear and 2 inches across to head of spine. Smaller chips with associated tears to corners and heel of spine. Bottom front corner with longer tear has tape repair. Some small puncture alongside spine which is tanned with some small droplet stains. Creasing across front cover.
