Minor bumping to spine ends and corners of green boards, but otherwise a not too bad copy of this hard-cover book, being the first of the author's three "Jean" pony stories. Her three daughters (Josephine, Diana and Christine Pullein-Thompson) wrote many pony stories as well. Originally published in 1936, this is a later "Cheap Edition" from 1949, but still the larger size (about 9.75 inches high by 7.5 inches across). 156pp, numerous b&w drawings.. Hard Cover. Good/Fair.
