One of the many commemorative items that was issued around the world for the Great White Fleet's 14 month circumnavigation of the globe. Images of every Australian state fill the pages, with captions below. Oblong 8vo, unpaginated, b&w photographic plates. Bound in publishers' blue pictorial cloth stamped in white, red and gold for the stars of the Southern Cross constellation. A beautiful keepsake produced specifically for the visiting US Navy. Bright with a couple of minor marks, gilt somewhat dulled.
