Dating to 1888, in pencil & in Swedish, making it a bit hard to make out. I'd like to see it go to a relative, no matter how distant. Text is in the old script. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

(7pp) , "A Table of the principall things that are conteined in the Bible, after the order of the Alphabet" (14pp, dated 1608, by Barker) , "The Whole Book of Psalmes: collected in to English Meeter by Thomas Sternhold, etc. " (dated 1608, 100pp). Pages are un-numbered, but the book is 2" thick. Includes 2 additional sections: The form & manner of making, ordaining, and consecrating bishops, priest, and deacons: and the form of consecration, of a church or chapel, etc., etc., andThe Whole Book of Psalms, in metre; with hymns, etc. (last section numbered to 95pp.). Last 5 pages are a list of subscribers. All told, about 550pp. Exterior hinges are worn, but intact. Some splitting between interior signatures, but the interior hinges are also intact.; Ex-Library; 6 1/4x9 1/4" .

Owner's name & inscription on the second endpaper. The moveable disc is missing from the "circular table". Balance of the contents are very good + to near fine. Wonderfully engraved and detailed. Inner hinge is cracking between the endpapers and the textblock. Early sale description slip pasted on the back of the fep. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
