More than 1000 engravings, mostly wood, but with a small section of copper engravings, mostly wortk done inthe early years. Also photographs of sculpture produced during the 1030's. Gibbings has illustrated sixty books, fourteen of which where he was also the author. The engravings are generally arranged chronologically, though exact dates are not always known. Gibbings died in January 1958.
