He works for the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6). Kingsley Amis wrote The Book of Bond or Every Man His Own 007, which is a tongue-in-cheek manual for prospective secret agents, illustrated with examples from Fleming's novels. Amis adopted Tanner's name for the book. This is a very good, or better, copy with minimal edge wear. The very good, price-clipped dust jacket has two stains to the base of the rear panel, a touch of toning to the spine, and light soiling.
