This is volume 3 of the reprint collection called The Works of Rudyard Kipling. The head of the spine has closed tears and has frayed. Slight sunning the spine. Earlier owners signature on the first free end page. There is a tiny puncture hole on the title page. In fair condition.

VG/none, used, both volumes are bound in red colored cloth, Vol. 1 is The Phantom Rickshaw & other tales which has 326pp; Vol. 2 is Plain Tales from the Hills which has 317pp plus pages of ads to rear. No date listed in either volume but they appear to be about 1900 or there abouts. Bindings are tight, no marks to interior. Slight shelf rubbing to the exteriors, corners slightly rubbed, not worn.

Charles Scribner's Sons, 1917-01-01. Hardcover. Good. This is the 1920 Volume II by Scribners. Olive hardcover boards still very flat, minor edge wear, corners still sharp. Spine softened at edges, no tears or fraying, some sun fading, gold embossed title and detail still very good. Hinges and gutters in very good condition, still very well attached to the binding. Deckled edge pages showing some foxing along leading edge, gold embossed top still good. Pages are unmarked or folded.
