Good+. used hardcover copy lacking a dust jacket. book is somewhat shelfworn and corners a bit bumped and frayed. covers may be a bit scuffed and outer edge of page block somewhat dusty/discolored with age. pages and binding are clean, straight and tight otherwise. there are no marks to the text. pages a bit discolored with age. spine somewhat sun faded.

Near Fine in a Good jacket, clipped, generally toned, some closed tears and chips at the edges, a large spot of rubbing on the back panel removing some of the text. Black buckram with black ink lettering on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound with toned pages, gift inscription on the front endpaper, clean otherwise. A collection of three Boners books, famously illustrated by Dr. Seuss.

This book seems like it hasn't been opened frequently. Pages are yellowed from time, but all are there, none are loose or torn. No writing or marking except for "To Winnie from Angie June 6 1939" on the front free endpaper.
The jacket has many signs of wear: chipping at the spine, minor creases, and a larger tear along the fold at the spine on the rear.

Slight discoloration along the board edges, first third of the book with a small, faint marginal dampstain at the top corners, a bright, very good copy in a good only dust jacket with loss at the edges, dampstaining causing offsetting of the orange die from the cloth (mostly confined to the verso), and abrasions on the cover panel.
