Dustjacket has heavy edgewear, including tiny chips, creases, and tears. Rubbed overall, and foxed on rear panel. The story of pioneer settlers who travelled from the western U.S. to British Columbia in search of gold and settled as farmers and salmon canners, in what is now Ladner. .
