Quarto, 11.5 x 9.25 inches, vellum-backed drab gray boards, good with light general wear to covers, soil and smudging to vellum, foxing and discoloration to endpapers, previous owner's tiny initials and date (1931) on flyleaf in old ink, light foxing and occasional small stains and spots to text, with small brown stain to top inner corner of much of the text. With quite a number of tipped in color plates by Donald Maxwell.
