Description:
Eagle Publishing Co., 1983. Hardcover. VG-. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover, no dust jacket. Red cloth boards with victorian design stamped in black on front and spine. Floral end pages which are free of any handwriting or bookplates. 528 pages and also in the back is a multi-page illustrated poem entitled " Curfew Must Not Ring To Night" by Rosa Hartwick Thorpe. Hinge starting to crack at front board and appears fragile and other places. There is evidence on one of the front blank end pages of a bookseller's price that had been penciled in the corner and then erased. There was a red ribbon (not attached) which was included in the book when we acquired it, this will ship with the book though we're unsure if the ribbon was originally from the publisher. See photos.
