Heavy cracking to hinges, with exposed netting. Pages 1173-1177, rear free endpaper and pastedown with small tears. Binding is shaky. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surface. Notable tanning to spine and boards edges with some fraying cloth. Dark marks to spine with prominent crushing to spine ends. Light stains to rear board. Gilt lettering is darkened.
