Edited with an introduction by Joseph Henry Jackson & illustrated with wood-engravings by Paul Landacre. Bierce is best known as the author of "The Devil's Dictionary," and to have vanished without a trace in Mexico in 1913. Rubbing to cover edges with a label shadow, lacking the slipcase. Still a good reading copy with no interior markings.
