Hinges are slightly cracked with exposed netting. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pen inscription to front pastedown and free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Lettering is bright and clear. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Visible wear marks to boards.

Lots of marks and soiling though not a bad copy . Page edges are soiled. Internal pages are clean. "Beige cloth boards with black, white and blue illustration and black lettering. 34 illustrations by Will Owen in black and white."

Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning with visible tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear.
