Bookplate of collector Clifton Waller Barrett, small, light stain on front fly, and spine lettering a trifle rubbed, else near fine, lacking the dustwrapper. Inscribed by Jeffers on a tipped-in leaf to the author and occasional hobo: "To Jim Tully, with admiration for his powerful and sincere work. Robinson Jeffers."
