A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth and gilt sharp, the contents clean throughout. In the bright and clean dustwrapper, fine except for a short closed tear (c. 8 mm) to the lower edge of the front panel. Not price-clipped (£4.50 net to the front flap). A lovely copy of the uncommon first UK edition. In his foreword, Nabokov notes that 'Details of a Sunset' is "the last batch of my Russian stories meriting to be Englished.
