Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers. Some stained brown marking to top edges of pages. Stained brown marking to a few pages, text is not affected. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Damp staining to edges of boards and along spine. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Scuffing and light marking overall. Damp staining to spine and edges. Tape to edge of spine.

Foreword by Admiral the Earl Mountbatten of Burma. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning.

Not the least of these personalities is the Kelly herself. 219 pages with 16 pages of black and white photos and 2 maps. Some of the text has minor foxing but generally clean. Front page has been cut to remove some writing but does not affect map and first blank page has an inscription.Edges have some foxing. Cover in fair condition - see photo.

In overall good to very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - boards lightly rubbed to edges. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read, no annotations or inscriptions; light spotting to endpapers and tanning to page-ends but text and maps bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book. Photograph available.
